The Unified Diver Medical Technician (DMT) / Clinical Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) Online Certification Course is an advanced specialty education program designed exclusively for currently licensed EMTs and Paramedics seeking to expand their careers into hyperbaric medicine, clinical wound care, and dive/operational medical support.
This unified program combines the educational requirements for both DMT and CHT certification into a single, comprehensive course. Graduates may apply for DMT certification, CHT certification, or both, depending on their professional goals.
The course is delivered 100% online and self-paced, allowing EMS professionals to complete the full program without any in-person classroom or skills sessions, while earning 40 hours of Florida EMS–approved continuing education credit.

This program provides advanced academic knowledge and specialty training in hyperbaric and dive medicine consistent with licensure, employer policy, and medical direction.

What Makes the Unified Course Different

One course. No duplicated training. Both pathways open.

Historically, DMT and CHT training were delivered as separate, in-person programs, often requiring redundant coursework and early pathway selection.
Through alignment with the International Board of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (IBHBOT), Trilogy Emergency Medical Solutions has received approval to expand the DMT program into a Unified Course that meets the educational requirements for both certifications.
