Teaches scene size-up and primary survey adapted to the dive environment, dive history taking in a repeatable order, documentation of surfacing time and onset time as separate entries, and the dive neurological examination in full – mental status, cranial nerves, motor, sensory, coordination, gait, station and reflexes – performed serially so that direction of change is demonstrable.
