Diving Medical Responder (DMR): 100% Online
When a diver surfaces with pain, numbness or trouble breathing, the people on the boat have minutes to recognize it and act. This course gives you a far deeper understanding of diving injuries than entry-level dive first aid: why they happen, how they present, and how they should be managed from the dive site through definitive care.

- Diving physics, pressure and gas behavior, and the physiology of immersion
- Decompression theory, dive profiles, dive tables and gradient factors
- Decompression sickness, arterial gas embolism and barotrauma
- Diver assessment and the dive neurological examination
- Differential diagnosis of the post-dive patient
- Emergency oxygen delivery and diving emergency equipment
- Chamber referral, DAN consultation, evacuation and flight considerations
- Documentation and case-based diving emergency scenarios
